There was about a week where I was obsessed with sparklers.

This was Canada day with one of my families.

It was a lot of fun.

Went out with a few friends tonight on a PhotoLand Adventure after finding some enjoyable backdrops earlier in the day.

Here's some stuff.

Every week we have one class where you get an assignment. Leap out of the classroom rush off and try to finish it before noon when you have to have it printed and on the wall for critique.

I like this class but I don't like that every time this class comes around there is a snowstorm.

Only on our sections day... Never on the others...
ANYWAYS

Here are a few shots from the "old friends" assignment

Laura my "twin" and Crystal playing in the snow.

Crystal has fantastic eyes. Laura has fantastic everything.

These are the moments I miss.

Hanging out with Joey while he takes some footage of the bay.

Taking photos with Reidun, Andrew, Colin and Jaquey while roasting marshmallows.

Waking up in the morning and reading with Basha while everyone else sleeps.
Drinking Margarita's with Ian and Rachel.

Drawing on Ian while the house is filled with loud obnoxious people I love.

I just love the light that comes in through this window....
I also love tea.... and scarves.

Karate Tournament in Belleville.
The comic shoppe (I know its shop but I like to type shoppe) downtown was under threat of closing so I was asked to go take a portrait of the owner who intended to buy the other owner out to keep it open.

For a while my life was filled with streamers.
Natelie and I have a tendency to leave decorations up for months.
I couldn't throw them out.

We took these ones down a few days ago.

Life without streamers is just so plain.

I can get really bogged down with different things in my life and just forget one aspect entirely.

In this semester we have alternated between one week on the pioneer (school paper) and one week in classes.

In the next few days I will do my Damnedest to update this to right now.

For now I will post a photograph I took in Montreal that I personally adore and then I will send you off to watch something that will hopefully inspire you.

My mom Shelagh.

Happy Birthday Mom! I love this photograph of you and have had it open in photoshop behind the slew of windows with ted.com talks, emails, episodes of Skins loading, facebook, etc etc etc and every once in a while when I minimize one of those windows the photograph appears and I smile.

I am lucky to know so many beautiful people and even more lucky to be related to a bunch. You are one of the most beautiful and inspiring people I know not because you are my mother but because of the fact that you are fearlessly beating down obstacles while fulfilling you're artistic dreams.

Please never stop being inspired because when reading your essays, articles and hopefully soon books I find new inspiration and drive to push towards those goals that scare me.

I have the best mom I could ask for...

and not only that but I have two of them...

Thank you mom for being such a strong and inspirational role model in my life.
